Course Description

This course is for anyone who wishes to learn more about facilitation and also the skills and tools required to be a good process facilitator. The course will be an hands-on skills building workshop focussing on the application of tools and methods back at the workplace. The process skills learnt here can also be applied to a learning facilitator

LEARNING OUTCOMES 

At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

1. Understand the field of process facilitation vs other forms of facilitation
2. Apply the art and science of facilitation
3. Use various facilitation tools and techniques for group effectiveness
4. Gain knowledge and skills to become a good process facilitator
5. Apply the different facilitation techniques back at the workplace

METHODOLOGY 

The workshop is conducted using adult learning principles, requiring a balance between lecture inputs, group discussion, interaction and self discovery. The workshop methodology includes brief facilitator inputs, group discussion, practice teach and appropriate and relevant self and group discovery activities.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

A certificate of achievement will be awarded to the participant who successful completes the program.

The workshop will be conducted by Mr Ng Choon Seng. He is the only IAF Certified Professional Facilitator- Master & Assessor and WIAL Master Action Learning Coach. Choon Seng has been in the adult learning industry for more than 30 years and has conducted numerous Facilitation and Facilitative Training Workshops. He has trained and given feedback to over 2000 facilitators in the region. Choon Seng is the only IAF CPF Assessor in Singapore. He has been actively involved in public engagement sessions like the Our Singapore Conversation (OSC), Medishield Life and CPF Advisory Panel FGD as the designer and lead facilitator.
